Dr. Semanoff was born and raised outside the Philadelphia area. He attended the Manhattan School of Music for one year to study jazz saxophone. He then changed career paths and earned his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Temple University in 2009. After completing his undergraduate, Dr. Semanoff went onto obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University’s Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2013. After earning his doctorate, he completed a general practice residency at the prestigious Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. Dr Semanoff finalized his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center, a level one trauma center in East Meadow, NY. He served as chief resident from 2017-2018.
 
He is trained and interested in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery including dentoalveolar surgery, office-based anesthesia, dental implants and CT guided virtual planning, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma and reconstruction, pathology and TMJ surgery. Dr. Semanoff is certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (PALS), and advanced trauma life support (ATLS). In addition, he is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
 
Dr. Semanoff and his wife recently moved back to the Philadelphia area to join the growing team at Innovative Implant and Oral Surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, going to the beach, cooking and spending time with his wife and dog!
