As a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Adam Semanoff will provide you with highly personalized and compassionate care so you can achieve the results you desire. Dr. Semanoff is from Ivyland, Pennsylvania, and was drawn to oral and maxillofacial surgery because of the unique ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of problems of the mouth, face, and jaws. Being an oral surgeon is both exciting and rewarding and allows him to combine his passions for solving problems and helping people.
After finishing his residency, Dr. Semanoff and his wife moved to Florida to practice on the beautiful gulf coast. They moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to home, and while vacationing in Florida, he met Dr. Salin. They realized their visions and practice goals aligned and Dr. Semanoff was looking for a colleague to collaborate with for difficult surgical cases. He joined Dr. Salin’s practice and is excited to work in a group setting with like-minded, highly skilled surgeons.
Many patients come to him in a great deal of pain due to decay or infection, and he enjoys having the ability to quickly relieve their discomfort. Dental implants have given him the opportunity to handcraft a patient’s smile, and restoring someone’s ability to smile after years of hiding their mouth is incredibly rewarding. Undergoing surgery can cause anxiety, but by offering anesthesia options, thoroughly reviewing all treatment options, and treating patients like a member of his own family, Dr. Semanoff makes sure his patients feel calm and comfortable.
Dr. Semanoff received his degree in biochemistry from Temple University in 2009 and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2013. He completed a general practice residency at New York-Presbyterian/Cornell Medical College in 2014 and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Nassau University Medical Center in 2018.
